👋

I'm Latvian 🇱🇻 with 12 years of experience in Product Design.

I recently returned to my home country after living in Spain 🇪🇸 for 7 years.

I've been working remotely 🧑‍💻 for about 6 years.

My background in computer science 🖨️ and a bachelor's degree in international communication 🌍.

I combine tech savvy with strong communication skills, enabling me to communicate well with engineers 🛠️ and business stakeholders 💼.

🥾

An avid walker

Spending time outside is one of my most enjoyed activities. It gives me space to think and enjoy music I love. I walk long distances, be it a restaurant or the top of a mountain.

📚

Learns constantly

I’m an information sponge. The world is complex, and while I can’t know everything, exploring topics like technology, economics, philosophy, and human behaviour helps me make better sense of it.

🤖

Tech-savvy

I was 12 when I accidentally deleted the operating system from my friend’s laptop. It took a few weeks to fix, but in the process, I learned a lot about how computers work.

When I finally got my own computer, breaking and fixing it became a weekly ritual. So was helping people around me. That is the accident that set me on the journey into tech.

🎧

Curates playlists

I'm a bit of an audiophile, and I care about the quality of sound. This is why I started creating playlists for different moods and situations, and my friends tend to like them.

🎸

Strums the guitar a bit

I enjoy going to rock and experimental jazz concerts to observe the musicians shredding. How their fingers can create such complex melodies is beyond me. But it inspires me to try making sounds with my guitar.

✈️

Goes on adventures

Travelling has been a humbling experience. Coming from a small country, I've visited both major capitals and remote villages, stood beside vast oceans, climbed volcanic peaks, and relaxed on warm, palm-lined beaches. These moments have deepened my appreciation for the uniqueness of every culture and environment.
